I love my hearing aid. I would be lost without it. It is so nice to be able to talk on the telephone and have the television turned down to a level that everyone can enjoy. My 13 year old granddaughter is in the Kettering Kids Choir and she is going to be having a concert at the Shuster Center in Dayton. This will be the first concert of hers that I have attended. Without my hearing aid I would not have even attempted going due to the number of people and the background noise. The hearing aid makes the sound more clear. It makes me feel more normal because now I can participate and enjoy the simple things like hearing my granddaughter sing. 
Hearing Professionals are truly what they claim to be---Professionals at improving hearing loss. Their diagnosis of the range of my hearing loss, and fitting me with the appropriate Oticon Hearing Aid has greatly enhanced my hearing in group meetings, lectures and watching T.V. 
In February of 2007 I started having a roaring sound in my ear. The roaring was so loud I was unable to sleep. In July of 2007 I was diagnosed with Meineres disease. Dr. Welsh referred me to Hearing Professionals to see if a hearing aid would help. They talked to me about my hearing loss and recommended a hearing aid to help with the roaring and to also help with my hearing loss. As soon as the hearing aid was placed in my ear the roaring stopped. I wear the hearing aid all night and am finally able to get a good nights sleep. As an extra plus to wearing the hearing aid, I can hear much better and no longer have to ask people to repeat themselves.
